Martine de Groot werkt sinds begin 2016 bij IOB. Binnen het cluster Handel & Investeringen doet zij onderzoek naar het buitenlands economisch beleid van het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken. In 2019/2020 is Martine voor 5 maanden gedetacheerd geweest bij de Europese Commissie (DG Trade) als onderdeel van het NEPT Programma.
Martine heeft een BSc Economie en Bedrijfseconomie, behaald aan de Universiteit van Utrecht en een MSc Economie, behaald aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.
